Even the smallest outdoor space can be transformed with the right seating. Corner off an area and create a cosy hideaway in which to socialise, serve drinks and nibbles, or just sit back and relax with a good book.

This wooden seating is made from cheap pallets and leftover wood scraps, and you can put it together in a single weekend. The bonus is that it has a planter attached to the end of one side, so you can enjoy a little privacy and screening from the greenery. Add a few fragrant flowers and enjoy the scent of summer while relaxing in your garden.
