Squarefoot, one of India’s leading flooring brands just launched its 4,500 sq ft flagship store in Bengaluru, and it’s no ordinary retail space. The goal was to create a space that goes beyond the typical retail experience. “This brand, with three decades of history, is all about sustainability and quality,” says Aakriti Saraf, the designer and co-founder of Aakriti Saraf Designs, who led the store’s design. Her vision was to bring the brand’s flooring options together in a way that feels organic and natural. Visitors can move through the store without feeling overwhelmed, as each variety of floorboard transitions naturally from one space to the next.
