Jason may have inherited his design instincts, but his sense of style is entirely his own. Principal designer at his eponymous firm, Jason Wadhwani works out of a cosy studio nestled in the leafy bylanes of Bandra. “The house you see as you enter from the gate is actually where my parents still live, and my monochrome office is tucked just behind,” he explains, walking along the foliage-laden path to the right of the bungalow that leads to his workspace. Reflecting his signature sensibility, the orderly office — filled with functional, personally meaningful objects — offers an introduction to his uncomplicated, effortless, neutral-hued aesthetic, grounded in principles learned from his father.
