Sicilian-born designer Veronica Zimbaro has infused her Milanese apartment with her signature glamorous style - and it suits family life perfectly

When I started looking for a home in Milan, I was searching for somewhere that had a sense of familiarity,’ says Veronica Zimbaro. ‘W hen I came across this apartment, I immediately knew it was the right one.’ Born and bred in Sicily, the daughter of a well-known caterer from Messina, the influence of the south runs through her core. ‘What was most striking to me about this apartment was the quality of the light – despite being in Milan, it totally reminded me of my southern Italy.’
