'I always wanted to be a shopkeeper,' says Luci Noel, founder of north London-based homeware and design store Fodder (previously known as Kentish Town Stores). Originally a hybrid initiative – coffee shop, coworking space and shopfront for handmade homeware made by local craftspeople – in 2024, Luci moved the brand on from the hospitality side, rebranding as Fodder and relocating to an old antiques emporium in Hampstead 'in a tiny courtyard, off a side street, that most people are unaware of'.
