From the get-go, this light-soaked four-bedroom home on the NSW Central Coast was a match made in heaven for its owner and its designer, Greg Natale. Both are fans of 1980s architecture and the generous, pavilion-style creation fired that passion. “Bold, daring and uncompromising, that decade in design was what made me want to work in this profession,” says Greg. “From the age of 10, my fascination with it never ceased.”

He relived the love when the owners bought the property in 2023, for them and their three children, now aged four to eight. “We were drawn to the post-modern architecture and the spacious grounds,” says the owner. “We wanted a family home with a large backyard and plenty of space. We fell in love with this home’s sprawling, villa-style layout and beautiful arched ceilings.”
