MAKING PEACE

A calm and inviting space with an easy sense of flow was the design brief for this busy family kitchen

Soft shades of stone and honed Carrara marble create a tranquil mix, with a wood mantel on the chimney feature adding a touch of warmth. What was less appealing, however, was the layout, since a walk-in pantry was built in the middle of the room. The couple decided to redesign the room and asked Roundhouse to help.
