WHY WERE YOU LOOKING TO MOVE?
After living in a series of new builds while moving around the country for my husband’s job, we decided to take on a period property that needed a major renovation.

WHAT WAS THE ATTRACTION OF THIS PROPERTY?
The location was ideal and it had a big garden which was perfect for our boys, Kerem, 10, and Erdem, seven. We hadn’t been particularly looking for a period property, but this house had so much potential. It originally had six bedrooms and just one bathroom, which we knew wouldn’t work for us. We moved in between lockdowns and made the decision to do all the work in one go, which meant 18 months of disruption and dust.
