Even digital touchscreen controls, heated indoor-outdoor showers, aluminum and carbon-fiber construction, and fine wood accents seem par for the course—all to amplify the rugged and refined lifestyle. Escaping city life for the great outdoors no longer means leaving creature comforts back at home. No more restless nights sleeping in a tent pitched on the ground as a leaky air mattress steadily deflates. No more skipping hot showers. No more shivering around a tiny camp stove. Krug Bedrock XT2 $690,000

Austrian camper module manufacturer Krug has eyes on the American overlanding market. It joined efforts with Arctic Trucks in Wyoming to launch the Bedrock XT2. It starts with an F-550 converted to three axles and six wheels, each of which comes shod in 42-inch Continental tires.
