SCUTELLARIA INCANA 'ALBA'
Blooming coincides with miscanthus and Japanese anemone as the garden ignites again in early autumn. Found on the edge of woodland in North America and happy here in sun, or a partially shaded place where it should be allowed to rise above wood asters and low geraniums. A long-lived, gently clumping and well-behaved garden perennial.
Height and spread 1.2m x 50cm.
Origin North America.
Conditions Moisture-retentive soil, tolerant of drier conditions once established; full sun to part shade.
Hardiness RHS H7, USDA 5a-8b.
Season of interest August – September.
