Thai actress Namtan Tipnaree is a fresh vision in Givenchy Fall/Winter 2025 by Sarah Burton. The star tells L'OFFICIEL SINGAPORE about Girl Rules and her other upcoming projects, and how her goal has always been to help people feel valued and confident

One might choose to call Thai actress Namtan Tipnaree a slow burner, but as the old adage goes, “slow and steady wins the race”. Twelve years ago, the star got her beginnings in the entertainment industry as a co-host of Strawberry Krubcake, which also featured Bright Vachirawit. She then transitioned into acting, playing support and main roles in several television series, before fortifying her position as an actress with Friend Zone in 2018.

Fast forward to 2025 and ultimately, Namtan (whose name means “sugar”) is having a taste of sweet success, working on as many as three drama projects — including the recently concluded hit, Enigma Black Stage — at once. She has also cemented her status as a style aficionado, gracing the front row of fashion week shows. Yet in the end, what makes her happiest is “how the performing arts I love can positively impact society by helping people feel valued and confident,” she tells L’OFFICIEL SINGAPORE.
