All through Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior Spring/Summer 2025 collection, there are athletic elements and undertones while the Italian designer continues highlighting the idea of freedom of movement.
For the past eight years, Maria Grazia Chiuri has made several references to the strength of women, and this season is no exception. Inspired by archery, a sport frequently portrayed in different narratives, the designer strikes the perfect balance between legend and reality for Dior's Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
Before the show, Chiuri had been thinking about ancient times and sports. She first drew inspiration from the Olympics for her summer couture collection. Subsequently, the brand shared a video of the fashion designer exploring the Salle des Cariatides at the Louvre and gazing at a statue of Artemis, wearing a toga and holding an arrow.
