Straight from the hallowed vault of Cartier, comes the rebirth of a masterpiece: a brand new Cartier Privé Tortue watch. First introduced in 1912, the Tortue represented everything that the house of Cartier still holds dear to its heart as the masterful “watchmaker of shapes”. Though now made lighter and sleeker, with horns stretched along the straps, the design codes of the original Tortue remain intact: the symmetry of its case, the dialogue between taut lines and curves, and the unique apple-shaped hands framed within a rail track that follows the contours of the distinctive case shape. With this reincarnation, the Tortue takes us on a journey back to the style of yesteryears while maintaining a vibrant presence in the now.
