To say that Gucci has gotten a completely hard reset with a new creative director at its helm would be an understatement, but Sabato De Sarno’s first collection, titled ‘Gucci Ancora’, definitely put Alessandro Michele’s vision of Gucci to bed. De Sarno’s debut collection for the Kering brand also happens to be his first role leading a fashion house. Having previously worked with Dolce & Gabbana, De Sarno was Valentino’s director for the men’s and women’s collections prior to his appointment at Gucci.
