Sherlin's double blessing

She kept the news of her pregnancy under wraps at first, but when it was time to share, KFM presenter SHERLIN BARENDS knew she was going to do it on air.

“It felt natural to eventually share the news with our listeners. They are a part of the show – we start our mornings together – it truly is KFM Mornings with Darren, Sherlin, Sibs and you,” she says.

The first-time mom found out she was expecting in June and wanted to shout her news from the rooftops, but she and her partner, who prefers to stay out of the limelight, felt it was necessary to keep it to themselves until she was further along in her pregnancy.
