Game of Thrones Powers Design

Game of Thrones returned to Northern Ireland in October this year — not for a new season, but through an unlikely partnership between Warner Bros and smartphone maker realme. The collaboration was unveiled at the official Game of Thrones Studio Tour at Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge — the original filming location just outside Belfast — with the launch of the realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones limited-edition phone.

The Dragonfire Device

At the heart of the collaboration is the world’s first colour-changing “Design of Dragonfire” technology. Inspired by Daenerys Targaryen’s rebirth from fire, the phone transforms from black to red when placed in 44 degree celsius water — a visual nod to the Khaleesi’s fiery resilience.
