NICK KNOWLES embarks on a journey of discovery in the Gobi Desert
Recent years have seen Nick Knowles venturing into the world of TV travelogues, exploring destinations such as Japan and South America as well as an epic trip along the mighty Mississippi. Now, the DIY SOS frontman is packing his suitcase again for new series Lost in the Desert with Nick Knowles. Beginning on 5 this week, the three-episode expedition takes him to Mongolia's Gobi Desert, the land of ruthless 12th- and 13th-century warrior Genghis Khan and home to one of the world's largest dinosaur fossil sites.
