Where there's a WILLA

I, JACK WRIGHT NEW WED, 9PM, U&ALIBI DRAMA (BOX SET, SKY BOX SETS, VIRGIN TV BOX SETS & NOW)

It's a cold but sunny day as TV Times arrives at Lincoln's Inn Fields in central London to meet the cast of U&Alibi's new mystery thriller I, Jack Wright. Written by Chris Lang (Unforgotten), the six-parter centres around the apparent suicide of powerful businessman Jack Wright (played by Waking the Dead's Trevor Eve) and examines the fallout when it's revealed that his third wife, Sally (Luther's Nikki Amuka-Bird), and his two grown-up sons from his first marriage – Gray (Grace's John Simm) and John (Renegade Nell's Daniel Rigby) – have largely been excluded from his will.

And, today, its stars have gathered at the largest and oldest of the capital's four Inns of Court (the professional associations for barristers) to shoot the crucial scene where the well-heeled Wright clan receive that shock news at the reading of multimillionaire Jack's will...

'We're all sat around this big boardroom table and with lots of characters, we need lots of shots, so it's taking all day to film but it's fun,' John tells us.

The plot thickens, however, when DCI Hector Morgan (Game of Thrones actor Harry Lloyd), starts looking into Jack's death and finds evidence to suggest foul play. But who has motive for murder?

During a break in filming, Nikki, 49, and John, 54, share some clues about the tale, which unfolds over two timelines...

So, Nikki, how would you describe Sally?
