Damon Hill would be first to admit that he is happiest away from the limelight. But the former Formula One racing driver couldn't be prouder that Hill, a one-off portrait exploring pivotal moments in his life and career, is arriving on Sky this week.

‘I'm delighted with it,’ shares the London-born star, 64, during an exclusive interview with TV Times. ‘It's an odd thing watching yourself on screen when someone else is telling the story, but it faithfully represents how it was for me. The tension in the story is there, as is the arc of the story. And some of the film footage of our family, I'd never seen before.’

MOTIVATION TO SUCCEED

The ‘arc’ that Damon is referring to is the death of his dad, Graham Hill. The legendary F1 driver, who won the World Championship in 1962 and 1968, died four months after he retired from the sport, in a plane crash in 1975, aged 46.
