Charity realises with horror that Mackenzie is the father of Chloe’s baby

He's dodged many a bullet and managed to get a ring on Charity's finger without her finding out he has a secret son down the road.

But when Mackenzie gives in to his paternal instinct this week and visits poorly Reuben in hospital, it's game over for the new dad, who is spotted by his shell-shocked wife.

Charity's aware something is going on with her other half, who is drinking heavily and behaving erratically, and she's seriously worried when he earlier punches innocent Dan in The Woolpack, then goes AWOL.

The reason behind Mack's meltdown is that Reuben has meningitis, and he's struggling to keep his turmoil under wraps.
