Dylan and Paddy come clean about their part in Ray's murder

Bear may have done the village a favour in seeing off evil Ray, but blimey, what a mess he’s left in his wake. This week, not only is the pensioner facing a lengthy prison sentence but so, too, are Paddy and Dylan, who finally admit that they were privy to Mr Walters’ final moments.

DS Walsh has long suspected that Bear didn’t act alone and, at the very least, had help in moving Ray’s body. As Bear faces further questioning following his release from a mental-health unit, he’s pushed to the brink by the cunning cop. Determined not to drag his son down with him, he snaps and says that he killed Ray deliberately.
