Buried secrets going back decades are blown open in new six-part Welsh thriller Y Golau: Dŵr, starring Mark Lewis Jones as Rhys Owen, who was jailed 30 years ago for the murder of his cousin, Llyr.

Now back in his home town of Llanemlyn, Rhys' case comes to the attention of student journalist Caryl Huws (Sian ReeseWilliams), who has doubts about his conviction and is convinced the potential miscarriage of justice is connected to the controversial 1995 expansion of a local reservoir - and the secrets it buried.
