Featuring 15 medal events in slopestyle, moguls, aerials, big air, halfpipe and ski cross, freeski debuted in 1992 at Albertville and is now firmly established as one of the E Games' coolest spectacles.

Britain has made the podium just once in that time, when Izzy Atkin won 2018 bronze in women's slopestyle to claim our first and only medal in any Olympic skiing event.

Now, her sister, halfpipe specialist Zoe, is aiming to emulate that feat as part of a freeski squad that includes Kirsty Muir from Aberdeen, who was Britain's youngest competitor in 2022 when she finished fifth in the women's big air, aged just 17.
