Michael C. Hall is back to bring down a terrifying new group of serial killers in Dexter: Resurrection

DEADLY justice

Having played Dexter Morgan since 2006, Michael C. Hall must have thought he'd seen the last of his serial-killer character when Dexter was left for dead after his teenage son Harrison shot him in the finale of spin-off Dexter: New Blood in 2022.

However, fans who tuned in to last year's prequel Dexter: Original Sin were delighted to learn in the opening sequence that he survived his injuries. Now, Dexter: Resurrection picks up the story 10 weeks after the shooting, with a brand-new series that co-stars Uma Thurman and Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage.

'It's exciting and gratifying to know that the character of Dexter remains vital for many people,' says Hall in an exclusive video chat with TV&Satellite Week. 'At the very beginning, we were just shooting a pilot and hoping it got picked up and found a little niche audience. So this is far beyond what we envisioned for the life of the show.'
