Inside Meghan's 'Very Relaxed and Happy' Return to Acting

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is dipping her toe back into acting.

Eight years after her last role, on the legal drama Suits, Meghan, 44, was photographed on Nov. 5 on the Pasadena set of Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming film Close Personal Friends. According to an insider, Meghan has a “small part” in the movie playing herself. On-set, the source says, “she introduced herself as ‘Meghan.’ Everything about her was very sweet and calm. She genuinely seemed excited to be there.”

Meghan was working as an actress, with a lead role on Suits, when she met Prince Harry in 2016. She decided to leave the show and the acting world after their engagement the following year.
