Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster Step Out for Dinner Holding Hands

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster enjoyed a low-key, laugh-filled night out together at Father’s Office restaurant in Santa Monica on Jan. 6. The casually dressed pair were holding hands as they arrived for their dinner date. Two days prior, Jackman, 56, watched Foster, 49, fresh off an acclaimed Broadway revival of Once Upon a Mattress, in one of the final performances of the musical in Los Angeles. He was joined in the audience by Carol Burnett, 91, who played Foster’s role in the original 1959 production on Broadway.

While the dinner outing generated buzz about a potential romance, Jackman and Foster have yet to comment on the status of their relationship. In recent years both have been through divorces. Jackman, who issued a joint statement with ex Deborra-Lee Furness in September 2023 announcing their split after 27 years of marriage, was relaxed and upbeat as he and Foster enjoyed their night out. The Tony Award-winning actress and singer filed for divorce in October from her husband of 10 years, Ted Griffin.
