Nearly a decade after it ended, The Biggest Loser has been put under a microscope. The three-part Netflix docuseries Fit for TV: The Reality of the Biggest Loser goes behind the scenes of NBC’s 17-season weight-loss competition that aired from 2004 to 2016. According to the documentary, the show tempted contestants with high-calorie foods, allegedly encouraged them to use caffeine pills to drop pounds and exposed them to ridicule from fitness trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper.
