In recent years Superman, the most famous DC Comics character, has become a nowhere man, a caped irrelevancy. In the superhero action-movie universe, he's a stolid old moon eclipsed by bright, zippy asteroids. You just know all the Marvel superheroes make fun of him on their text channel.
