The Wonderful Company—which is No. 1 on this year’s list—is investing in the next generation of leaders. Children of Wonderful employees at the Central Valley, Calif., location are eligible for up to $40,000 in scholarships per year. Plus, through the Wonderful Education Career Pathways Program, high school graduates can earn 60 college credits and a free associate’s degree in agriculture, public health or education. The 2025 Career Pathways cohort set a new record when 307 high school students graduated with an associate’s degree. “Our people do the hard work of feeding our nation. Their children deserve every opportunity,” says co-owner Lynda Resnick. “This program empowers students to enter college with a two-year head start on classes—or graduate high school and step right into higher-paying jobs.”
