War 2 is gearing up to be one of the most explosive Bollywood releases of 2025.

This high-stakes thriller, the sixth entry in the YRF Spy Universe, is a revolutionary addition to Yash Raj Films' growing cinematic universe in addition to being a followup to the 2019 smash War. War 2, which is slated for release on August 14, 2025, with Kiara Advani, Jr. NTR, and Hrithik Roshan in the key roles, is being timed to take advantage of the Independence Day week.

War 2 Plot: Kabir's new mission unfolds

Returning as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, Hrithik Roshan resumes his role as the dashing yet deadly spy from the previous film. In War 2, Kabir is thrust into an even more perilous undercover mission that spans multiple continents, bringing him face-to-face with a fierce new adversary played by Jr NTR. Known for his power-packed roles in Telugu cinema, NTR makes his Hindi film debut with this role and early glimpses from the teaser suggest an electrifying face-off between the two stars.
