Casper might be your cute friendly cartoon character ghost but, when it comes to dating, ‘Caspering’ someone really isn’t that much friendlier than downright ghosting them. What is caspering, you ask? Ghosting, we all know, is when our boo (see what we did there?) mysteriously disappears without offering us any closure or explanation. Similarly, Caspering is letting someone down, but gently – someone ghosts you but not abruptly because, even though they don’t like you romantically, they don’t want to hurt you by suddenly vanishing on you.
