As you step inside the intimate 30-seater bar in bustling Bandra, it feels like you're entering a pre-Colonial Indian bar with deep wooden interiors, hand-painted botanical tiles, an over-80-year-old Venetian mirror, and lamps restored from an old Bombay British whiskey bar, among other elements. Chef Niyati Rao and Sagar Neve dedicated over a year to exploring India's drinking culture and have tried to bring the rich heritage to the forefront, celebrating the true essence of Indian drinking and eating habits in an authentic way. The result is a great option to head to to enjoy an intimate evening with your date over a few drinks and chakna.
