Visual Clutter

A cluttered space or a cluttered mind is always a hindrance to our productivity. It never lets us focus on the things which need our attention.

Our subconscious is always checking out the space around us and feeding our conscious mind. If the space is neat and tidy, our five senses automatically calm down. This will let us concentrate better on the areas where we need to focus, rather than making us irritable due to ununderstood reasons.

Why do we always look forward for those hotel rooms and bathrooms. That is because, those places have only the bare minimum necessities. It does not contain an entire world of things messing with our thoughts and grabbing our attention.

We must have also come across situations when we have consciously decluttered our wardrobes, kitchen, and bathrooms, but still, there is something that does not seem right.

That is the moment, to look around and check, if there is visual clutter around us. Visual clutter refers to certain things in our place, that are not pleasing to our eyes.

Example, things may not be symmetrical, too many things may be out on the surface, or simply our workstation has unkempt charging cables twirling around. It is important to deal with them right away.

Here are few simple ideas how we can get rid of visual clutter easily and make our space more aesthetically pleasing and minimal.
