All the forest dwellers loved her songs. At night, her sweet melody spread through the forest. Coco was waiting for the forest dwellers while sitting on a tree. They came, talked to her, and praised her singing.
"Coco, your songs are the pride of this forest. If we don't hear you sing for a day, the forest seems deserted," said Sippy sheep.
Coco loved being praised. After some time, Bobo bear passed by and praised Coco's songs. After talking for a while, he went away.
Coco kept everyone entertained during the summer season and was happy getting compliments.
After the scorching heat, when the raindrops fell, the whole forest danced. The trees, plants, animals, and birds had all been very upset without water. The forest dwellers welcomed the rain with open hearts. The plants came to life as if they were longing for water. The vines started growing rapidly, and soon greenery covered the whole forest.
During the rainy season, Coco sat in her nest to avoid getting wet. Her nest was not so sturdy and barely managed to keep her safe.
She wanted to sing songs, but she enjoyed it only when others listened and praised her. During the rainy season, nothing could be heard above the sound of the heavy rain. And so, Coco stopped singing. She was waiting for the rains to stop so she could entertain the forest dwellers again.
But it continued raining. Many days passed.
It rained often and drenched the whole forest, distressing the trees, plants, and animals. They needed relief from the rain for a few days so they could resume their usual lives.
They were unable to do their work and the nests of the small creatures started getting spoiled and smelling bad.
