10 SHE SAW ELVIS' DEATH COMING

While growing up at the family's famed Memphis mansion, Graceland, Lisa Marie saw the effects of her father's prescription drug abuse long before his 1977 death at the age of 42 from a heart attack. "I wrote a poem with the line, 'I hope my daddy doesn't die," she writes, recalling how she once found him face down on the floor of his bathroom. "I knew that something tragic was coming." The day he died, they shared a hug and kiss and exchanged "I love yous" before Lisa Marie, then 9, went off to bed. She awoke in the middle of the night to find him being carried out on a stretcher. "My life as I knew it was completely over."

When she was 14, Lisa Marie who died at the age of 54 in January 2023 from a "small bowel obstruction" started dating a 23-year-old man who sold compromising photos of her. Devastated, she took 20 Valium with the intention of ending her life.

8 HER MOTHER'S BOYFRIEND ALLEGEDLY ABUSED HER

Lisa Marie claims her mother Priscilla's former boyfriend, Mommie Dearest actor Michael Edwards, began sexually abusing her when she was 10. "He would touch me and spank me, telling me not to look," she writes, adding, "I assume he was j---ing off." Lisa Marie says that when her mother confronted Michael about the abuse, "he'd say, 'Oh, I was drunk' or 'She was actually flirting with me.' I was 11, 12, 13."
