As far as Hollywood friendship origin stories go, Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock's is pretty un-Hollywood, and involved sending notes to each other at their mutual friend Lorenzo's wedding before trading countless shots of Jack Daniel's.

"We were just like, 'Oh my God, we need to meet and cut loose," Bullock told Vanity Fair in a recent interview about Aniston, which also gave a rare glimpse into the A-list actresses' long and treasured friendship.

Aniston's recollection of that night? "I'd never had Jack Daniel's until then, and I have not had a sip of it since," she told Interview magazine in a joint chat with Bullock in 2020.

In the 15 years since that wild wedding, Aniston and Bullock - Sandy or "Sand-a-la", as Aniston affectionately calls her- have been each other's fiercest supporters. Their friendship is more low-key than showy, partly because of the Speed star's avoidance of all things social media. On a deeper level, their bond lies in their shared values and grounded lives outside of their high-profile careers.
