Just a few years ago, Ash Barty's summers would've looked very different but, this year, the three-time Grand Slam champion enjoys “beach days, family time at home and watching the great sport on TV” during the warmer months. Here, WHO catches up with the 29-year-old.

How did you avoid outside noise when making the decision to retire young?

Retiring in 2022 was a difficult decision, but the right decision for me. I didn’t listen to outside noise but it was definitely hard to tell those closest to me. They all understood and supported me. I was overwhelmed by the support from the tennis community as well.
