When rumours emerged that Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin had split recently, ending their nearly eight-year, on-off relationship, insiders insisted it was for good. “It feels final this time,” one source told People magazine.

However, fans were left questioning whether the couple are, in fact, over for good, after the singer, 48, gave a shout-out to his supposed ex, 35, while on stage recently. Closing out one of his band Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres world tour shows in Las Vegas on June 7, Martin urged fans to support the actress’ film Materialists, which is in cinemas now.

“Thank you so much, everybody. Be kind to yourself. Be kind to each other. Don't forget to see Materialists. We love you,” the frontman said before exiting the stage, according to a video obtained by Deuxmoi from the night.
