She’s the Aussie pop powerhouse who became a music megastar both Down Under and in her adopted home of the UK, but after 35 years in the industry Kylie Minogue hasn’t quite managed to crack the US … yet. Currently seeing success in the charts with ‘Padam Padam’, Minogue is said to be set to announce her first ever Las Vegas residency. “The deal has been about a year in the making and will be announced officially over the US summer,” a source recently told The Scottish Sun.

Insiders say the 55-year-old will hit the stage in October at mega-nightclub Voltaire inside The Venetian Tower, with the brand new, intimate 1000-seater venue reportedly being designed with headliners in mind.

“Vegas bosses were keen to get Kylie to kick off the show before November’s Grand Prix which is a massive international pull for the city,” the Sun source explained. “Kylie has always been pop’s ultimate showgirl and her run in Vegas will be no different.”
