Why are you doing a quiz show? And why this one?

I love quiz shows and I’ve always wanted to host a quiz show. My whole life. Even when I started doing comedy, I always wanted to host a quiz show at some stage. The reason why I like this one is because a 10-year-old has the same chance of winning as a 70-year-old, so it’s something I can watch with my son. The questions aren’t about what you know as how you think. They are riddles and IQ questions. That fascinated me. I thought I’d be rather good at it, but as I discovered while recording the show, I always got knocked out around the 50 or 40 per cent round. So I know exactly how intelligent I am and I know that I wouldn’t win this show by a long shot. I’m not smart enough.
