Thabiso Mokhethi calls out people who misuse social grants for their selfish needs in intervention reality show Umndende.

Seeing that the government social grant is intended to assist those who struggle to financially support themselves, it’s alarming and a crime when someone close to them steals their money.
To end the injustice, the victims write to brand-new intervention series Umndende, and together with host and actor Thabiso Mokhethi (Samuel Khumalo in Generations – The Legacy, see p21), they confront the abusers. “In most cases, the abusers intercept the grant for scrupulous means such as partying or paying a loanshark – anything but caring for the person that the grant belongs to and is meant to help,” explains Thabiso.
