CELEBRATING TV'S TOP TALENT

Whether you’re a dedicated fan of Corrie or obsessed with Strictly Come Dancing, the TV Choice Awards guestlist has something for everyone. With celebrities across every corner of the small screen attending, the annual ceremony returned for another successful year on 10 February at London’s Park Lane Hilton Hotel. And it seemed Emmerdale was the night’s big winner after scooping up the Best Soap gong and the Best Soap Newcomer award, which was presented to Beth Cordingly for her performance as Ruby Fox-Miligan.

However, there were plenty more wins in the room as BBC talent show Strictly bagged the Best Talent Show award, with recent show stars such as Jamie Borthwick and JB Gill on hand to pick up the TV Choice trophy.

It was great timing for the show, which wrapped up its live tour just the night before with a final performance in London after three weeks of travelling across the UK. Taking no time to rest after the tour, JLS star JB was in high spirits as he looked back on the successful run.

“The tour was amazing, it was a long old time but it was an amazing experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My children came to the last show in London, so it was really special,” he told us during the awards bash.
