SLEEP TIGHT ALL NIGHT

Tired of feeling tired? You're not alone. According to a recent survey*, only 6% of Brits say they get a dreamy eight hours of perfect rest every night.

In our always-on world, quality sleep has become the ultimate luxury – and research shows it's vital to everything from mood to memory. But if slumber doesn’t come easily to you, help is at hand. Whether you're a troubled sleeper or just looking to upgrade your bedtime ritual, there’s sleep tech, apps, supplements, nightwear and bedding to help you fall asleep and stay asleep.

We're a nation obsessed with slumber – how to get more of it, how to make it better, how to stay asleep at all. But how well are we really doing? The Mirror's survey of 2,000 UK adults*, in collaboration with DFS, pulled back the covers on what's happening between the sheets. And the results are clear: the nation is dreaming of better rest. However, whether it's because of our mattress, our mindset or bedtime scrolling, we're being kept up – and not in a good way.

We're spending vast amounts on remedies to help us sleep, yet more than a quarter of us admit to regularly pushing through tiredness just to keep going. When we're sharing our beds with a partner, more than 50% of us regularly experience restless nights.
