Myleene tells of 'sheer terror'

Stalker who sent Myleene Klass a gun in a box is found guilty, as a source tells new the star has been struggling

As Myleene Klass spoke of her terrifying ordeal after being targeted by a stalker who sent her an air pistol and handcuffs through the post, a source claims the star is having a “tough time” right now.

Peter Windsor, 61, was found guilty last week of stalking the TV and radio presenter after a trial at Birmingham Crown Court and is due to be sentenced for his crimes next month.

The jury heard how TV and radio presenter Myleene was bombarded with chilling gifts, including the gun and a police uniform during a four-year stalking campaign between 2020 and last year.

Windsor, who is schizophrenic and claimed to be not guilty by reason of insanity, was also found guilty of targeting Myleene’s Classic FM colleague Katie Breathwick by sending her details of a DIY will-making kit and other “unhinged” mail to the radio station's London studios.

Appearing in court for the trial, former Hear'Say singer Myleene, 47, said the sinister packages made it “very clear what the intention was”, adding, “It's a gun in a box with my name on it.”

Myleene was visibly upset as she described the moment she learned from police that Royal Mail had intercepted the air pistol addressed to her, and later told that “at such close proximity, right up to 6ft, it could prove fatal” adding she was “extremely shocked because suddenly it felt extremely real”.
