Jungle fever for Shona and Aitch

The attraction between Aitch and Shona McGarty has been delighting I'm A Celebrity viewers – so could the pair become the show's next big couple?

It's been several years since I'm A Celebrity fans were treated to a jungle romance, but viewers have been left hopeful by the sweet bond developing between Shona McGarty and Aitch.

Eagle-eyed viewers spotted actress Shona gazing at the rapper while he was play-fighting with Emmerdale star Lisa Riley last week, with one commenting, “Shona, we see you checking out Aitch there.”

Another teased, “OMG Shona is licking her lips at Aitch topless. Did anyone else see?”, while a third echoed their sentiment, posting, “Shona licking her lips when Aitch is topless is no coincidence.”

If love were to blossom, then the former EastEnders star's family has already given him the seal of approval.

Shona’s sister Camilla delivered her verdict on the Mancunian musician as she landed at Brisbane Airport last week, saying, “He is a nice guy... I would definitely have him around for Christmas.”

Aitch — real name Harrison James Armstrong — first confessed his feelings to campmate Angry Ginge, admitting, “I've got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me.”

When Ginge replied, “I think she’s really nice, if that's what you mean?”, Aitch, 25, smiled and said, “Yeah, that's what I mean.”

It led to hosts Ant and Dec revealing that they're desperate for a jungle romance on this year's show. But Camilla said she needed to see more evidence that romance is actually blossoming before getting too excited.
