'I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO PROVE'

As reality star Charlotte Crosby returns to our screens, she talks doing the best for her family, relationship struggles and having no regrets

'I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO PROVE'

Charlotte Crosby is the first to admit that she's never been afraid of being her candid, outrageous self on camera.

However, the Geordie Shore star's latest reality series shows a whole new side to her - as a mum of two young kids who's fighting to save her relationship. Geordie Stories: Charlotte Mam Of Two follows the 35-year-old as she navigates parenthood with fiancé Jake Ankers, 35, and their daughters Alba, now three, and nine-month-old Pixi. Raising two little ones proves to be a culture shock for the pair, who hit a “rocky patch” during filming.

With Charlotte admitting on the show that they “might not be able to come back from” their rough period, she tells us that Jake won't be watching the Paramount+ series.

“He's scared about that. All the shows we've done together have been very nice-y nice-y,” she says. “This captured a little bit of the bad part of our relationship and he's never had to expose himself or his relationship like that.

“I was so used to it that I didn’t even give it a second thought. But he said, ‘This is a bit difficult for us.’ Honestly, every new parent goes through this at some point. It's so relatable - what do you want to do? Lie and hide all of that?”

The Geordie Shore spin-off sees Charlotte jet across to Australia to be the ‘Boss’ once again on Aussie Shore while also juggling motherhood and Jake's own work commitments.
