As Christine McGuinness opens up about her shocking illness, a source tells new the anxiety is rising for her

After opening up about a terrifying secret health battle, Christine McGuinness is feeling “overwhelmed” and “frightened” as she deals with her newly revealed health woes.

The TV star, 37, has spoken about suffering from random “seizures”, one of the symptoms of what has been diagnosed as Raynaud's disease. And while she’s happy to have a diagnosis, it's not helping with her health anxieties, a source told new.

“Christine is a massive overthinker, so when it comes to her health, she does get really stressed — this health scare was the last thing she needed recently,” the source claimed.

Last week, the mum-of-three said she first noticed something was wrong at the beginning of the year when she'd struggled to do up her kids’ uniforms, as her hands unexpectedly seized up.

“It can be frustrating and upsetting,” the former model explained [to Mail Online]. “When it happens, sometimes I have no choice but to stop what I'm doing until my hands recover, which can be very challenging when I'm trying to balance work commitments and family life.”

After several episodes, Christine sought medical advice in May, and was diagnosed with Raynaud's syndrome — a condition that causes an exaggerated reaction to the cold, affecting blood flow to the fingers and toes, and sometimes the nose, ears and lips.
