Control freak Meghan grinding Harry down

WHILE Prince Harry puts on a smile as he bravely attends events with wife Meghan, insiders tattle that the red-haired royal is feeling micromanaged and desperately craves space and freedom away from his controlling wife.

Sources say the 40-year-old Duke of Sussex's unease was evident as he squired Meghan to her Time 100 appearance in New York April 23.

When their motorcade arrived in front of Jazz at Lincoln Center, Harry tried to help her out of the car, but the 43-year-old duchess brushed him aside to greet a woman.

The embarrassed hubby was then seen trailing uncomfortably behind his ball and chain and her friend.

"Meghan was the one who insisted on Harry being by her side in New York, and he didn't argue," notes an insider. "But the way it all went down with him essentially following her around the whole time was just more reason for him to want to do his own thing."

According to the source, Harry often feels like a third wheel around Meghan, noting, "People are calling him henpecked and it's really starting to bother him. It's no wonder he's doing more solo trips."

Sources say the couple's problems stem from wanting different things.
