Adopting a healthier diet can independently influence chronic pain, researchers say

The researchers found that people who improved their diet quality over a three-month period dropped pounds and reported far less joint and muscle pain benefits not fully explained by weight loss alone.

"Chronic musculoskeletal pain is one of the most common and debilitating conditions worldwide," the University of South Australia's Sue Ward says.
