Brad Pitt is ready to build a family with his girlfriend of almost two years, Ines de Ramon

Nearly two years into their romance, Ines: de Ramon and Brad Pitt finally made their redcarpet debut. On Sept. 1, the very affectionate couple attended the Venice International Film Festival premiere of his newest movie, Wolfs a moment they've seemingly been building up to for months.

She'd spent much of her summer in Europe with Brad while he worked on his upcoming racing flick, F1. The actor even lovingly held the jewelry executive's hand as cameras captured their arrival at the British Grand Prix on July 7. So why up the spotlight on their relationship now? "Brad and Ines are showing their commitment to each other by making these public appearances together," explains a source. "He wants her by his side."

The Oscar winner also wants to make her as happy as she's made him - and part of that, says the source, means starting a family together. "Ines has been living with Brad for a while already, and neither is in a rush to marry," notes the source. "But she would like to have children, and there's buzz that that could happen sooner rather than later."
